TAKEN: November 4th 2005
EQUIP: Fujifilm FinePix S3100 *no additional lenses* Taken from a lookout found off the ski trail road on Mt Lemmon just outside of Summerhaven on a night when i went up the mountain to catch a meteor shower with my, at the time, future mother in-law. I really plan to purchase lenses capable of photographing the stars. All I have to say is 'wow'. Anyway... The sun sets really early over the mountains and the dust in the air is what aided the overall color performance of this shot and firmly places my 'favorite photography destination' sticker on Tucson, Arizona. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
